What better way to take the edge off of your Monday than visiting San Diego’s oldest tavern The Waterfront Bar & Grill serves three meals a day, including both traditional and Tex Mex breakfast dishes and tacos, burgers, grilled cheeses, fish and chips, chili, and salads during lunch and dinner hours.

During Happy Hour, you can order house wine, draft beers, and Ballast Point spirits for only $5. The Waterfront also serves complimentary hors d’oeuvres. If you want a traditional-feeling setting for your Happy Hour, check out Princess Pub and Grille. This establishment started as a British pub back in 1984, and the pub ambiance goes perfectly with their sports offerings on 10 large HD TVs. They serve pub breakfast, including bangers and eggs or steak and eggs. For lunch or dinner, you can get fish and chips, reubens, burgers or even steak and ale pie.   

Their daily Happy Hour specials include $4 well drinks and $6 drafts. You can buy a range of appetizers for half off, including Super Nachos, Housemade Tempura Chicken Tenders, Roasted Garlic and Bleu cheese mushrooms, and onion rings.

If you’re looking for a trendy gastropub, then look no farther than Craft & Commerce. This establishment offers up a range of impressive foods and drinks in a recently remodeled and hip atmosphere. They serve dinner every day, with brunch on the weekends. Dishes include Blueberry Muffin Bread Pudding, Wood Fired Bone Marrow and a forest mushroom tart.

Many Happy Hour specials rotate, but you can count on half off craft beers if you stop in after work on a weekday. They also serve up $1 wings and $2 corn dogs. If you’re coming in with friends, check out the discounted punchbowls.

They open up early with breakfast, so no matter where your favorite NFL team is playing, you’ll be able to eat and watch the game. During Happy Hour, you can enjoy a well cocktail, a draft beer or house wine (red or white) for just $5! If that’s not very appealing, you can always stop by on the weekend! They serve brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and you can get bottomless mimosas for only $14.

Fight Over the Drinks and Food Menu at Glass Door in Little Italy

Visitors to Glass Door may struggle to decide what’s better here: the cocktail menu or the food. There is a range of beers and a mouth-watering assortment of craft cocktails. This trendy but casual eatery is located on the fourth floor of the Porto Vista Hotel, but you don’t have to stay there to stop in!

Happy Hour specials here include $5 cocktails with house brands, $6 house wines, $4 domestic bottles of beer, $5 bottles of imported beer and $7 house infused cocktails. If you want to order food, you can get their duck fat frittes, fish tacos, sweet potato fries or several other dishes for $6.

Super Cocina El Camino Is Addicting in Little Italy

If you’re craving Mexican food to nurse your hangover, stop into El Camino for amazing Saturday Happy Hour specials. This place has a lot of personality, calling itself both funky and addicting. Locals tend to agree, and their tacos and burritos are as popular as they are varied. You can order all kinds of fillings, from chicken asada to mahi-mahi and even marinated pork. Their Mexican postres for dessert change daily, so be sure to ask what they have!

The Happy Hour specials at El Camino include $4 Modelo drafts, $5 sangrias and margaritas, $6 Mexican Mules or a pitcher of sangria or house margarita for only $25. You can also order quesadillas, carne fries or El Camino nachos for half off.

During Happy Hour, you can order a $4 house wine, $4.50 draft beers and well drinks, or $8 house martinis. You can save 30 percent off on all appetizers, and get bread with chimichurri sauce, olives and butter for only $2.50.
