The Galley at the Marina serves up great deals and New American cuisine. After a stressful Monday, stopping in for a Happy Hour drink followed by a sunset dinner could be the exact cure you need for the workweek blues.
Happy Hour specials at The Galley at the Marina include $4 well drinks, house wines and 16 ounce pints of certain domestic beers. The food specials include discounted dishes like beef angus sliders and fries for only $6.99 or two fish or beef tacos for only $5.99. On Monday, you can even order up all you can eat spaghetti with grilled Parmesan sourdough bread.

From the fish to the aquas frescas, everything served up at Mariscos Los Cuates is incredibly fresh and flavorful. There’s something for everyone here, including kids, who can order a range of dishes including cooked shrimp and beer battered fish chunks. Adults can enjoy oysters, burritos, tacos, dinner plates and ceviches for dinner.
The Happy Hour Specials at Mariscos Los Cuates include 30{372de7297e8b41c818865a77b0364fb7e13db89d3d95308be22354efbe89a23b} off ceviches and perron, smoked tuna or squid chicharon tacos. You can order a pina colada, mojita, margarita, Micheladas or two cans of beer for $4. Certain appetizers are discounted to $8 as well.

If you’re looking for a fun place to grab a drink after work on Hump Day, stop into The Canyon Sports Pub & Grill. The menu here includes loaded tater tots, poppers, salads, sandwiches, including French dip and Philly cheesesteak and burgers or sliders.
Their Happy Hour specials include $2 off pitchers of already reasonably priced beer, as well as $5 Titos, Milagro, Elijah Craig and Sailor Jerry. This place has fun daily specials all week, from Bud & Burger day on Monday to $7 Philly fries on “Fryay.” On Wednesday, you can get five wings for $4.50 or ten wings for $9, along with a $3 Shocktop beer.

Viva Chula Vista (Roll)

Craving sushi and sake to get you closer to the last day of the work week? Stop into Izakaya Naruto. Favorites include their tempua-fried japapeno poppers, lemon mayo shrimp tempura and the Abre La Boca Mucha roll. Their unique house rolls, like the Viva Chula Vista Roll, are quite large. You can also order standard sushi here.
The Happy Hour specials at Izakaya Naruto include half off of all house sake and $2.80 for Japanese beers. If you’re not in the mood for raw fish, they make a fusion noodle soup based on pho, ramen, salads, edamame and even panko fried avocado.

If you’re in the mood for Friday night tacos and great specials, you can’t beat the Happy Hour at Tacos & Tarros. As the name implies, they have a number of fun takes on street tacos, including New York and California tacos, as well as Marlin style.
The Happy Hour specials at Tacos & Tarros are worth the visit. You can order up an amazing margarita for just $5 or a domestic beer for only $3. There are a number of appetizers on sale for $5, including their carne asada fries. This restaurant celebrates Taco Tuesday, with all kinds of incredible tacos at discounted prices.

If you’re catching a movie at the AMC movie theater in the Otay Ranch Town Center, you should stop in for Saturday Happy Hour specials at Savoie Italian Eatery. You can start your meal off with Parmesan truffle fries, fresh soup or salmon tartar. For the main dish, you can order up a salad, a pizza (including a braised short rib and BBQ pizza), pasta, burgers, steak, fish or chicken.

The name Valentino’s Lounge might conjure images of pasta and pizza, but that’s not what you’ll find at this Chula Vista establishment! This lounge is dedicated to sushi rolls and great drinks. They have some unique martinis on the menu, including cucumber, tamarind and horchata.
The Happy Hour specials all revolve around food. You can get appetizers for discounted prices of $5, $6 or $7. Options on the menu include certain sushi rolls, pot stickers, poppers, oysters on the half shell, scallops, and even ahi tuna tacos or shrimp cocktails. If you can’t make it out on Sunday, stop in on a Monday, when all their sakes are half off!
