Every Kind of Costume Contest

If you decide to bring your fur-baby to the party, spend some time on his or her costume, too. There
will be a pet costume competition at 8:30 p.m., which is distinct from the human costume competition.
Those who want to participate need to visit the Box Office when they get to the party to ensure entry.
Each participant gets a specific time slot for the competition.
The human costume contest will consist of four rounds, with participants walking down a catwalk for
judging. The first three rounds result in three semi-finalists. The first round begins at 9 p.m., the second
at 9:30 p.m., the third at 10 p.m. and the final round starts at 10:30 p.m. Other people at the party will
be voting live for the winners of the contest with text votes. You and your friends can plan a group
costume, or you can create something that stands out on your own.

Buy Tickets Early for Scary Savings

Unlike some neighborhood street parties, The Nightmare on Normal Street isn’t free and open to the
public. Besides the costume contest with real-time text voting, local celebrity judges and prizes, there
will be local DJs spinning dance tunes, plenty of food trucks with special treats and a massive outdoor
dance floor.
You can pre-order the tickets online for just $20 per person. If you’d like a VIP Pass, which
includes two cocktails, $7 in food credits, a separate VIP bar, private restrooms, private stage viewing
and front of the line access to the event, the cost is $45. General admission goes up to $25 the day of
the event, and VIP tickets increase to $55.
