All day Saturday and Sunday, you will get free admission to the annual Spring Planting Jubilee & Tomato Sale along with your standard admission cost.

Herbs, Veggies and Bromeliads for Sale!
Starting your own garden plants from seeds can be frustrating. If you sow into soil, you risk cold weather, birds or small mammals killing off (or eating) your seeds. Starting seeds indoors requires a lot of space, special lights and other equipment. For those who rent or who don’t have time to check on seedlings daily, starting seeds indoors may just not be an option.

Of course, buying plants can be a difficult process as well. There are some suppliers and stores that sell plants that are sick or root-bound, ensuring that a transplant into your garden ends in disaster. The cheapest supplier is not always the best option.
Thankfully, the Spring Planting Jubilee helps local green thumbs connect with Diane’s Herbs, a company that sells all kinds of herbs, bromeliads, garden plants, art and gardening tools.
Gardening Supplies, Food and Educational Speakers
If all those young veggie plants leave you feeling hungry, you can grab a bite to eat from Two for the Road food truck, which will be selling lobster rolls and other snacks. The Feel Good Coffee Cart will also be present, dispensing caffeine.
There will be multiple, ongoing educational workshops on both days to help people learn better gardening skills. There will also be an impressive display of orchids, and orchids available for purchase.
Since seeing all those young veggie, herb and tomato plants may put you in a culinary mood, you’re in luck! Coastal Roots Farm will have a stand set up, selling fresh, locally grown produce for you to take home and enjoy.
If you have kids, they will have a blast at the Jubilee as well. There will be a petting zoo, pony rides, special crafts and activities!
