There are always fun things happening in San Diego, especially during major events like the Super Bowl. For many people, the most fun to be had on Super Bowl Sunday comes from get-togethers hosted by friends and loved ones. Savvy to the fact that Super Bowl specials can never improve on private Super Bowl parties, Stone Brewing is hosting a special event in the morning, well before kick off.
They’re calling the event their Stone Super Sunday CELLARbration. This event is an exciting opportunity for beer lovers to try some of the rarest brews and longest aged beers offered by Stone Brewing, all paired with exquisite food made by a popular local chef.
Experience our newly expanded tour route, where your expert guide will lead you through the heart of our brewing facility and packaging hall in Escondido. We'll give you an insider's look at the brewing process and craft beer culture, then finish it off with a selection of core and special-release beers served in a souvenir glass for you to take home. On top of that, $1 from each ticket will go to a local charity. See you soon! A Brew and Food Pairing Worth Waking up For
Stone Brewing has partnered with Executive Chef Tausha Lopez to create the ultimate beer-pairing event of the season. There will be five unique dishes on the menu, paired with 15 tasters of some of the best beers Stone Brewing has to offer.
Even better, you receive a complimentary can growler filled with Stone IPA with Passion Fruit and Bullet Hops to take home with you for your Super Bowl party later in the day. Designated driver tickets secure entry and plenty of food, but no beer or growler. Tickets for both full admission and designated drivers are currently available online.

Five Unique Dishes with South-of-the-Border Flair
If you’re more concerned about the food than the beer, you have nothing to worry about. The dishes are already announced and they sound amazing. There will be fried smashed taters made into croquettes with soyrizo, jalapeno crema, cotija cheese and green onions, paired with two different IPAs and a Scotch Ale aged in Scotch whiskey barrels. The second dish is braised pork belly adobo with garlic fried rice and chicharones, paired with a Barley Wine, an Aulder Rauch and a Vertical Epic Ale.
There will also be Curried Chicken Bao Buns, paired with a red wine barrel aged Saison, a Barley wine aged in white wine barrels and an IPA aged in Reposado tequila barrels. The fourth dish is a teriyaki-glazed linguica sausage hash paired with Smoked Barley wine, Double Bastard Ale from 2010 and the last keg of a 2005 Barley wine.
The dessert course is a spiced whoopie pie with cranberry cream cheese and white chocolate, paired with Spice Oddity Vertical Epic Ale, an Imperial Russian Stout and a Southern Charred ale. There will be additional beers available on draft and in bottles, with several special growler fills available for purchase as well.
